When Candy Quackenbush unleashes a mythical sea in the middle of Chickentown, she has to make a choice. Go back to high school and her destiny as a worker at a chicken factory, or take to the sea and change her life forever? Duh! She leaves with John Mischief and his brothers, who just so happen to be attached to his head, on a perilous journey to the 25 islands of the Abarat. Will Candy survive, or will her journey end before it gets started?
